Run under the historical lights of Lewisburg
and socialize with your friends afterwards. Race will start and finish at Hufnagle Park. Racers will complete 2 laps
of the downtown area. Specials will be offered at participating downtown establishments. Race will go on in the rain.
Awards to
overall male and female racers as well as top three in each age category.
The run will take you down Market Street, past the legendary Campus Theater and
other popular store fronts and restaurants. You will then make your way through a well lit residential area and wind
back to the beautiful Bucknell campus. Once past Bucknell, you will cruise the perimeter of the Lewisburg Graveyard,
site of Christy Mathewson's resting place, on your way to the south side of the Lewisburg High School. Runners
will then make their way down St. Louis St. passing Hufnagle Park and the downtown playground. Don't let the sight of the
finish line tempt you, you still have another lap to go!!!
I-pods, mp3 players, etc. are prohibited for racers under 18. They are discouraged
but not prohibited for adults.
